E’Real
E’real lead singer Sam Rodriguez is the youngest of three siblings born to Dominican parents Maria and Rafael Rodriguez. They moved from their native Dominican Republic to the US at an early age and decided to settle in New York in search of a better future for themselves. His father Rafael, a tailor by trade, was always hip to the latest trend in fashion and music. He owned an extensive record collection and always played music throughout their home. “There was nothing like the sound of that old vinyl, the soul and richness of those records drew me in like a moth to a flame” says Sam. As a result, the younger Sam became interested in the creation of music and its trendy movement and the formation of E’real.
E’Real showed early signs of success with their 2004 bachata singles “Sola” and “No Es Igual”, amid both charting on top of the Latin American and European Latin singles charts. In fact, their relevance in the genre can be heard today, as the Bachata-rengue release “Esta Noche” continues to play as a recurrent on DirecTV and XM satellite Latin Radio. E’Real is back to introduce their most recent single “Bailando”, now available on iTunes. E’Real’s lead singer /composer Sam Rodriguez has had plenty of experience over the years to tweak and refine his musical talent and to yet deliver his best work up to date with “Bailando”. “Bailando” represents Sam’s own personal and intimate experiences in love. “Bachata is supposed to be a bitter-sweet expression and our own version of the Blues - Dominican Style” Says lead singer, “And thru my own personal experiences I hope to speak to that lover that’s inside us all”.
