Elsie Rodriguez, born in Bronx, New York is better known as Fascination in the world of Dance Music. She had always envisioned herself achieving stardom as a singer and songwriter. A student of music and drama, Elsie's zest and love for dancing is what actually gave Elsie her "big break" in the entertainment business. She was discovered at New York City's Copacabana nightclub while dancing up a storm and introduced to music producer Todd Terry. That liaison resulted in her debut singles, "Why You Wanna Go" and "Don't You Think It's Time."
Her debut single on new label Lumar Music / Cutting Records was 1990's "Remember," which became her biggest crossover success as the hit single received national radio play and immediately became a hit nationwide. Fascination's follow-up releases included 1991's "I Want You Back", 1994's "Still Miss You" and "Don't Get Me Wrong" - featured on the 1993 freestyle compilation release titled CUTTING RECORDS DANCE VAULT.
