2 in a Room began as a DJ-Producer concept created by Aldo Marin in 1989. The first 2 tracks were released on the Cutting Remixes album titled "Fantasy" & "Somebody in the House Say Yeah".  As a result, Cutting was called on to have 2 in a Room perform at the popular Helter Skelter RAVE in the UK.  "Do What You Want", performed and fronted by DOSE was the second single from this newly created group. With the collaboration of some of Aldo's producer/DJ friends such as BENJI CANDELARIO, TODD TERRY, DOSE, CHEP NUNEZ, ROGER PAULETTA, ALBERT "LATIN RASCAL" CABRERA, CARLOS BERRIOS, "Little" LOUIE VEGA, OMAR SANTANA, DENNIS PINTO, LOUIS FLORES and GEORGE MOREL, "THE ALBUM" VOL.1 came to fruition and subsequent release in 1989.   

This album was one of the first DJ/Producer albums of it's kind!!!  One of the instrumental tracks on "THE ALBUM" , "As It Grooves"  became the basis for the internationally  certified GOLD (USA & Australia) hit song "Wiggle It" , produced by George Morel and written by Dose at the behest of Aldo Marin.
